- Height of independence -

So, last week, I thought I’d hit the height of my being an ‘independent woman’. Ya see I am the human embodiment of what it means to be an independent woman. I pay all my own bills, I travel the world, I support myself, total independent women. Amazing, I know. However, last week, on my independent woman journey I thought I’d hit my peak. I bought new tires for my car, and also learned how to tell when it’s time to get new tires all on my own lol. Knowing these types of things deserves extra credit I think?

But, is there anywhere else to go from there? What happens to Independent women once they’ve maxxed out their… Independence?

I feel like I have successfully achieved that thing that you’re supposed to achieve when you become an ‘independent woman’ and yeah that’s really cool but, what else am I supposed to do once you’ve reached that point? Well, I don’t know. BUT I’ve thought of something..

I’ve decided to create a little mini-series called the ‘Heights of independence’. This will be a little account of my current journey of figuring out what it means to be an independent woman and to live in the suburbs. I want to learn things like, installing my own front door and, how to lay flooring in a house. I want to learn how to do skills that I would normally pay someone else to do.

Hopefully, this journey will give me a new definition of what it means to be an ‘independent woman’.

So, thank you for joining me on this new journey of independence.
